Roberta Cumbiancchera

Producer, Production Assistant, Casting Director

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, daughter of a Guarani native american and an Italian, I started to get interested in films, acting and politics in my teenage years, understanding that only through arts I could make a change to this classist and racist world.
I first joined acting school at the age of 15, and did not give film school a chance until 2015, when my interest for documentaries and production started to grow in my heart and pushed me to apply for the I.D.A.C - Instituto de Arte Cinematogr√°fico de Avellaneda, a public film school known all over Latin America for forming great filmmakers mostly from underprivileged backgrounds, at 0 cost.
Ever since, i've produced over 6 short films in my hometown, one of which was selected in three international film festivals, including the Portland Underground Film Festival and BARS - Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre, and I'm already working for different directors in the Portland area.
I speak Spanish & English.
